Because the document is stitched separately and the cover is made separately. When both items are ready, the document is then attached to the case.

 

When you send us your document for Hard Case Binding or after we output your file to paper, the pages are stitched together, trimmed on three sides and head bands are applied to the spine.

 

Meanwhile, the case or cover is custom made to the size of your document using the fabric of your choice. The case is then foil-stamped with your name and title on the spine and your college logo is applied to the front where applicable.

 

There’s no need for you to concern yourself with the details. Just be prepared to receive your beautifully bound document!
